Samgyetang · ginseng chicken soup
Order the samgyetang, a whole young chicken stuffed with glutinous rice, ginseng and jujube and simmered until the meat falls off the bone. Season it yourself with the salt and pepper on the table, and try the small cup of ginseng liquor that comes alongside.
Samgyetang is served hot and contains a whole small chicken. Ask about ingredients if you have allergies.

After doing our homework on which samgyetang restaurant stood out in Seoul, we decided to visit this place to try their famous ginseng chicken soup. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The soup tasted very bland, with almost no ginseng flavor at all. What upset us
I would come back here a million times if I could!!! Seriously the best spot for authentic samgyetang. Hot soup on a hot summer day surprisingly hits. I got the black chicken soup and it literally changed my life. The broth is so clean, light, and flavorful without being heavy.
Eat a bowl and drink all the soup.. you will be able to gain strength to shopping whole day in Myeongdong. The ginseng taste is not too strong, soup might be too plain to most.
