진옥화할매원조닭한마리
Jinokhwa opened in 1978 and is one of the founding restaurants of the alley now called Dak-hanmari Golmok, where whole chickens simmer tableside in a shallow pot of broth. It's a communal, cook-it-yourself meal that rewards a small group with time to linger.

Order one dak-hanmari per 2–3 people, cook it with the noodle and rice-cake add-ons, and finish with rice fried in the leftover broth.
Come with at least two people since one pot is meant to be shared, and expect a wait for a table at dinner.

We went here for dinner with our local friend. It is packed but still have table for us. We ate exactly like being instructed. Self mixing sauce. I love the broth. Opening with rice cake, dig in the chicken meat and soup after 5-7 minutes. Then we ended it with their udon sty
It's a solid place to come. Nice food, great atmosphere and I can see why the history of the place makes it popular. Is it worth waiting for? Not particularly. They have a queuing number system that isn't always working properly (falsely reset a few times). Didn't really mind too
